Dermatologists in Houston to Host Open House for Grand Opening of New Facility
Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center is announcing an open house to celebrate the grand opening of the Houston dermatology office. Dr. Paul Friedman and Dr. Jennifer Peterson have assembled a line-up of skin care and beauty professionals to help answer patients’ medical and cosmetic dermatology questions and provide skin care analysis.
Houston dermatologists Dr. Paul Friedman and Dr. Jennifer Peterson are proud to announce the grand opening of the Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center. To celebrate, they are hosting an open house on Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 5:00-7:30 pm. Dr. Friedman says several leading skin care and beauty professionals will be on-site to interact with attendees and discuss the latest advances in dermatologic laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Friedman says he and the Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center team look forward to hosting the open house for existing and new patients, adding that the evening will be informative and educational for everyone. “We are very excited about welcoming existing and new patients to our state-of-the-art office in the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza. With skin-care experts from over 15 different companies confirmed, the evening will give us the opportunity to educate attendees in the latest advances and technology.”
In addition to a complimentary skin care analysis and a mini-makeup session, attendees will receive gift bags and one day VIP pricing on state-of-the-art dermatological procedures, such as Zeltiq Coolsculpting™ and Fraxel ® laser treatments.
About Paul M. Friedman, MD
Dr. Paul Friedman is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is co-author of Beautiful Skin Revealed™: The Ultimate Guide to Better Skin. Dr. Friedman completed his training in dermatology at the New York School of Medicine, one of the nation’s top dermatology residency programs, where he served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a one-year fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancer and dermatologic laser surgery at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York. . He serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Texas Medical School, Department of Dermatology, and a clinical assistant professor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is also on staff at Memorial Hermann Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Friedman has been a featured speaker of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and other national and international societies..
About Jennifer D. Peterson, MD
Dr. Jennifer Peterson is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Peterson is a magna cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University. She earned her medical degree at Texas Tech University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She spent a year as a research fellow at the University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Dermatology, followed by a three-year residency in dermatology at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. She completed an additional year of training with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in La Jolla, CA at Goldman Butterwick & Associates Cosmetic Laser Dermatology.
