Houston Dermatologists Honored by American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery

The Board Certified Dermatologists of Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center in Houston will be honored with a prestigious award at ASLMS 2020, the annual conference of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Paul Friedman and his team are dedicated to active clinical research that advances the efficacy of patient care.

Dr. Friedman and his team are being recognized with an ASLMS 2020 Best of Session Award for their study comparing the use of Oxymetazoline 1% cream with and without the addition of Pulsed Dye Laser for patients with erythematotelangiectatic rosacea. Clinical research showed that combination therapy with both treatments can safely and effectively reduce erythema and telangiectasias. They will be presented with this award on May 1st, 2020 at the ASLMS conference, along with Dr. Amanda K. Suggs, Dr. Pooja Sodha, Dr. Angela Macri, and Dr. Gilly Munavalli.

As ASLMS award recipients, Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center will author a scientific paper based on their award-winning study, which will be published in Lasers in Surgery and Medicine.
